According to Girija Prasad’s son Rinku Pathak, two of the five plants have dried up, but three are ready. All three plants are bearing apple fruits. According to Rinku, it took about a year for the apple trees to bear fruit. The apple plants have been bearing fruit for the last three years. This time the maximum fruits have come. But in a few days the fruits will grow from their small size. His father loves the plants very much. His hard work has paid off, as now we have apples grown in Bundelkhand.

Preparations to plant 200 more plants

Grow apples in Bundelkhand’s climate. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir are among the cold states where apples often flourish. But thanks to his dedication and hard work, Girija Prasad Pathak has successfully completed the challenging task of growing apple trees on the scorching land of Bundelkhand. In Chhatarpur, for more than eight months of summer, the temperature in cities like Khajuraho and Naugaon can exceed 48 degrees Celsius. As a trial, the farmer has planted five apple saplings, but he is already planning to plant 200 more saplings. According to him, if three out of five saplings are ready, 200 saplings can be prepared.
