Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana 2025: State government is giving subsidy for setting up dairy, know the amount and benefits
Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana 2025: The Government of Bihar’s Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, Cow Development Directorate, has launched the highly helpful “Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana” program for farmers, jobless youths, and rural women. This program aims to increase milk production in the state and provide rural youngsters with opportunities for self-employment via the establishment of dairy farms. In addition to being a significant step in empowering young people to become self-sufficient, this program will assist the state’s dairy industry in growing.

Interested parties may simply apply to establish a dairy unit based on 2, 4, 15, or 20 milch animals (cows or buffaloes) under this state government program. The government would pay a rebate on cost pricing under the system, which varies depending on the recipients’ socioeconomic status.
This is how the scheme’s advantages will be accessible
02 milch cattle/heifer dairy unit:
- Total expense: 174,000 rupees
- Grant: Rs. 130,500 (SC/ST/EBC)
- Other categories: 87,000 rupees
04 milch cattle/heifer dairy unit:
- Sum total: Rs. 390,400
- SC/ST/EBC grant: Rs. 292,800
- For other categories: 195,200 rupees
For dairy facilities with animals that are 15 and 20 milch:
- All categories are eligible for this selection.
- 15 animals cost Rs 15,34,000. 40% subsidy of Rs 613,600
- Twenty cattle cost Rs. 20,22,000 with a 40% subsidy of Rs. 808,800.

How to Apply for the Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana 2025
Only online applications will be accepted for this program. Applying for applicants may be done online at dairy.bihar.gov.in. The application deadline has been set for June 25, 2025, until July 25, 2025.
