The row technique is used to seed it. Plants should be separated by 30 cm, and rows should be separated by 45 cm. When using the row approach, the crop yield is higher. Five to six days after seeding, it should get its initial watering. The best soil type for growing it is said to be sandy loam. It is quite expensive on the market because of its poor cultivation. This generates a healthy profit for farmers.

According to information provided by farmer Chhote Lal Maurya, we now grow colocasia in three bighas. Between eight and ten thousand rupees is the approximate amount spent in a single bigha. The market does not set a fixed price for colocasia. The price per kilogram of colocasia is between 40 and 60 rupees.

In ten months, the harvest will be ready

Colocasia is relatively simple to cultivate. The field is plowed first. Following this, colocasia is sown at a distance, and the land is leveled. It takes 10 to 12 days for the plant to emerge. After that, fertilizer is applied and it is watered. As a result, the tree is ready in no time. After about 10 to 11 months, the crop begins to appear and may be pulled up and sold in the market.
