To prevent this, Dr. IK Kushwaha, the professor in charge of Saharanpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra, advises farmers to use certain chemical medications. Farmers may prevent their cucumber crop from being destroyed in 10 to 15 days by utilizing them. According to Dr. IK Kushwaha, there are two ways that cucumbers might become yellow. When the cucumber reaches its maximum size, yellowing takes place. This occurs because the cucumber is deficient in certain nutrients. There are hybrid cucumber species that produce more. The plant needs more nutrients. There are several micronutrients on the market for this, and they have to be sprayed sometimes. Allow 15 days after the first spraying. Spray twice a month, in other words. This keeps the cucumbers from turning yellow.

The only way to solve this

According to Dr. Kushwaha, the absence of boron in the field is the second cause of cucumber yellowing. Farmers could provide micronutrients such as zinc and boron to the crop if the cucumbers are starting to crook. The bottom portion of the cucumber also gets twisted and yellow as a result of fruit fly stings. Farmers may employ pheromone traps in these circumstances. Male insects are drawn to it because it smells like female insects. Chemicals known as pheromones are responsible for this odor. It attracts the fruit fly, which then falls into it and perishes. For the farmers, each of these actions may be the answer.
