This role focuses on maintaining accuracy, safety and efficiency throughout the handling, organizing and presentation of products. By working as part of a coordinated team, the associate supports daily operations by preparing merchandise, managing movement from trailers to stock locations and helping create an organized sales environment that enhances customer satisfaction.
Sales Floor Preparation for Opening
Preparing the sales floor is a key responsibility of this role. The associate ensures all designated product areas are organized, accessible and ready for customers when the store opens. This includes arranging displays, confirming product availability and identifying any replenishment needs so that the environment reflects consistency and order.
Merchandising Setup and Feature Presentation
This position includes supporting merchandising objectives by arranging product features and completing signage requirements. The associate ensures that presentation standards are met and that product placement aligns with seasonal priorities, promotional strategies and overall store layout plans.
Trailer Unloading and Merchandise Processing
A major part of the workflow involves unloading trailers and managing incoming merchandise. This includes sorting items, processing them efficiently and placing them in designated areas for further handling. Live unloading requires attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines to maintain accuracy and a clean work environment.
Backroom Organization and Inventory Placement
Unlike day or evening fulfillment roles, this position focuses more heavily on accurate labelling and systematic placement of merchandise into backroom bins. Proper organization in storage areas ensures faster retrieval, supports efficient stocking routines and maintains strong inventory accuracy throughout the operation.
Pallet Movement and Overnight Stocking Support
The associate is responsible for transporting pallets from receiving zones to the sales floor and returning empty pallets as needed. Overnight processing relies on this movement to maintain workflow continuity. Additional support may include stocking shelves, filling gaps and ensuring all product categories are properly replenished.
Customer Assistance When Required
