DSR Technique: Adopt this effective technique to increase paddy production in less water
DSR Technique: In many states of India, the water level of the earth is continuously falling and due to the increasing population of the country, the use of water has also increased significantly. At the same time, the Government of India is also concerned about the falling water level and is running many water conservation programs across the country. At the same time, a lot of water is used for the extensive production of wheat and paddy in Haryana. In such a situation, the government is now giving farmers modern technology for direct sowing of paddy as well as an incentive amount (DSR) of Rs 4,500 per acre for doing so.

Learn to use DSR technology
We want to tell you that direct sowing of paddy with DSR technology saves time and water, while fewer seeds are also used. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Tepla is educating farmers about direct sowing of paddy in each village in Ambala. This time scientists have planted different types of paddy crops in the facility of the Agricultural Science Center, in which DSR has been adopted for direct sowing.
The old method of paddy is prevalent even in this era
Giving more information to the media, Dr. Upasana Singh, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, said that there is a rich yield of wheat and paddy for Kharif crops in the Ambala region, so many farmers cultivate paddy in the traditional way. However, while transplanting paddy in this way, farmers should first prepare paddy seedlings in shallow trenches before transplanting in the middle of the pond. Farmers incur more labor costs in transplanting paddy in this way, as well as more water being consumed.
Direct sowing of paddy is very beneficial
He said that Krishi Vigyan Kendra is now going to the community and helping farmers to do direct sowing of paddy because if farmers do this, they will get a good yield with less water and labor. He told us to ask farmers to use technology instead of paddy season for direct sowing of paddy, and if they face any problems, they can get information from Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
This method works wonders
According to him, Krishi Vigyan Kendra has also done direct planting of paddy in a modern way in its area and this time its scientists will produce rice in large quantities. He said that now direct planting of paddy has become a very profitable method for many farmers and many farmers of the Ambala area have produced a large quantity of paddy using this method.
