Maize Cultivation: Do just this one thing in corn farming, there will be rain of money

Maize Cultivation: The Kharif season’s sowing procedure began with the advent of the monsoon, and because of the recent, heavy rainfall, the majority of farmers have also planted urad, soybean, maize, and pigeon pea. However, the effort does not finish here; you may still get high yield and bumper output by serving your crop in a certain method. Agricultural specialists will explain to us how many days the crop should get fertilizer in our discussion of maize today.

Do these tasks to produce more

This season, a record 1.5 lakh hectares of maize are being grown in Sagar. According to Dr. K. S. Yadav, Principal Scientist at Sagar Krishi Vigyan Kendra, the majority of farmers have already bought corn, and those who haven’t should finish by July 12. In addition to cow dung manure, maize needs 120 kg of nitrogen, 50 kg of phosphorus, and 40 kg of potash per acre in order to produce more.

Before planting, farmers who are left to do so should distribute all of the phosphate and potash on the field and add one-third of the urea. The remaining urea should then be split into two parts. First, spray one section of the corn as soon as it is 20 to 25 days old or three to four leaves emerge. Similarly, excellent yield will be achieved if the second portion of the leftover urea is sprayed after 40 to 45 days.

Most farmers keep urea close to the roots of corn plants, but this is not a good idea, according to agricultural scientist Dr. Yadav. Instead, spray urea in the space between the plants to spread it throughout the field because it is soluble and the roots will absorb it on their own. It should be remembered that urea should only be applied to the field by bending slightly. It is not advisable for urea to fall into the cave in the center of the plant. It shouldn’t adhere to the foliage.
