Paddy Farming: Farmers will earn huge profit by cultivating these 3 types of paddy, know how
Paddy Farming: If you want to increase the production of your paddy crop while using less chemical fertilizers, hybrid paddy varieties can be the right choice for you. The biggest strength of these varieties is their strong ability to fight diseases, which keeps your crop healthy and improves productivity at a reasonable cost. Although hybrid paddy varieties take a little longer to mature and are somewhat coarser than fine paddy, they often produce much more.

PHB-71 by Pioneer Seeds: This variety can produce about 60 to 80 quintals per hectare and matures in 130 to 135 days. It is grown extensively by farmers in Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. It is 80 to 82 cm tall, has a long ear and its grain is strong and shiny. Most importantly, since it uses less water, this variety is suitable even for dry areas. Its rice is also quite tasty.
Production will be up to 35 quintals per acre
Arize 6444 from Bayer Crop Science Gold variety: Farmers in many Indian states prefer this hybrid variety as it is resistant to bacterial leaf blight (BLB) disease. It takes 135 to 140 days to mature. Each plant produces 12 to 15 strong shoots and they are about 75 to 80 cm long. This variety thrives in harsh environments and can easily tolerate drought. It produces between 30 and 35 quintals per acre.
Abnormal rainfall will not have any effect on production
Kaveri Seeds’ Kaveri 468 variety matures in 115 to 120 days, which is a fairly short time frame. Its plants have a height of 105 to 110 cm. Unseasonal rains also have little effect on it. The large ears of a plant contain about 250-300 grains, which also produce 15-16 sprouts. It produces 30 to 32 quintals of rice per acre and the rice tastes very good.
