Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025: The Jharkhand Home Defense Corps has declared that the Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025 application window will reopen. Candidates may now reapply between today, July 9, and July 16, 2025, if they were unable to complete the form in the previously set period to participate in this recruiting.

The official website, recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in, is the sole way to complete the application form for the recruitment. The applicant must review the eligibility and requirements before completing the form.

Who is eligible to take part in the hiring process?

• Candidates must have completed at least their seventh grade and above in order to be considered for the positions of rural home guard.
• Candidates must have completed at least 10th grade and higher relevant qualifications in order to fill out the application for the positions of urban house guards.
• Candidates should be no younger than 19 years old at the least and no older than 40 at the maximum.
• Age will be determined with January 1, 2025, in mind.

Physical Requirements

• Male applicants must be at least 162 cm tall in order to be considered for this job. Applicants in the SC and ST categories must be at least 157 cm tall, while female applicants must be at least 148 cm tall.
• Male applicants from the General, OBC, and BC categories should have a chest measuring 79 cm, while those from the SC and ST categories should have a chest measuring 76 cm.

Through this recruiting, 1614 open positions will be filled. Of them, 338 are set aside for urban regions, while 1276 are set aside for rural areas.
