Big opportunity for recruitment of more than 1000 Head Constable posts in BSF, apply soon
BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025: Applications are being accepted for the posts of Head Constable. Candidates fulfilling all the required qualifications can apply online on the official website of BSF rectt.bsf.gov.in. Under this recruitment drive, the company will appoint 1121 posts.

The registration process will start fronom August 24 and will run till September 23, 2025. Eligibility, the selectionon process and other details are also given in this notification. The notification states that 211 Head Constable (RM) and 910 Head Constable (RO) posts will be recruited.

Selection Process
Subject to passing the Paragraph Reading Test, the final merit list for HC (RO) will be prepared based on the combined marks of the Computer Based Test (CBT) (200 marks) and Dictation Test (50 marks) out of a total of 250 marks. The total of 200 marks earned in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be used to prepare the final merit list for HC (RM).
Application Fee
For male applicants from Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), the application fee for the posts of HC (RO) and HC (RM) is Rs.100 per post. The examination fee can be paid through the Common Service Centre, Credit/Debit Card and Net Banking.
SC, ST, female applicants, BSF Department employees, Ex-Servicemen and Compassionate Appointment candidates are not required to pay the examination fee. Candidates can visit the official website of BSF for more details.
The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will form the basis of the selection process. This will be followed by a computer-based test and document verification.
The computer-based test will be in Hindi and English only. The two-hour computer-based test will have multiple-choice questions. The inspection will be held at certain locations at the time and date fixed by the Director General of BSF Headquarters. The computer-based test will have 100 two-mark multiple-choice questions.
