NHPC Recruitment 2025: NHPC issued notification for apprenticeship, application process will start from today
NHPC Recruitment 2025: A formal announcement for a one-year apprenticeship program has been made by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (NHPC). Graduate Apprentices, ITI Apprentices, and Diploma Apprentices will be hired in accordance with the announcement. You may apply for one of these apprenticeships based on your qualifications if you also like to get training from NHPC as an apprentice. Apprenticeship applications will be accepted beginning on July 11. Additionally, till August 11, 2025, qualified and interested applicants may apply online at nhpcindia.com.

Qualifications and Allowances
- Graduate Apprentice: To apply, a candidate must have graduated from an accredited Indian institution with a BE, BTech, or BSc degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering. In addition, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in other areas from an accredited university.
- Diploma Apprentice: Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Indian institution with a diploma in civil, electrical, mechanical, nursing, pharmacy, computer operator trade, etc.
- ITI Apprentice: Applicants must have completed ITI in a recognized program in a trade such as computer operator, electrician, plumber, fitter, mechanic, etc.
- An ITI apprentice will get a stipend of Rs 12,000 per month, a diploma apprentice will receive Rs 13,500 per month, and the chosen graduate apprentice will receive Rs 15,000.
Maximum Age
Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply for an apprenticeship, and they must be at least 30 years old. Additionally, applicants in specific categories will be granted an age relaxation.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be chosen based on their academic performance from the prior class.
- Graduate apprentices get 20% of their grades from their 10th grade, 20% from their 12th grade or diploma, and 60% from their graduation and post-graduation.
- Class 10 grades account for 30% of the Diploma Apprentice’s weight, whereas diploma grades account for 70%.
- Class 10 grades account for 30% of the weight for ITI apprentices, whereas ITI grades account for 70%.
