Candidates who fill out the application fee can pay the application fee by October 16, 2025.

Degree candidates can apply for this position

To apply for the Railway Section Controller position, a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute.

Maximum Age for Railway Positions

Candidates must be at least 20 and 33 years old to apply for this position. Age relaxation will be available for limited groups, as per the rules. Note that the determining age will begin on January 1, 2026.

Application Fee

Candidates must submit the application form and the category-specific fee. If the fee is not paid, their form will not be approved. SC, ST, PWD, and female candidates from all categories must pay ₹250, while candidates from the unreserved, OBC, and economically weaker sections must pay ₹500.
After the Phase 1 exam, SC, ST, differently-abled and female students from all categories will be refunded the full fee amount, while applicants from unreserved, OBC and economically weaker sections will have to pay ₹400.
