UP Police Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has begun accepting applications for the positions of Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander. Applicants may apply online at the official website for the positions of Platoon Commander and Sub Inspector. Let us inform you that a total of 4543 applicants will be assigned to various positions, such as Platoon Commander and Sub Inspector. Application Cost

In order to apply, candidates must also pay the application cost. The application price for SC and ST applicants is Rs 400, while the charge for General, EWS, and OBC candidates is Rs 500.

Essential Requirement

Candidates must have completed their studies at an accredited Indian institution and meet other requirements in order to apply for the positions of Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander. In addition, applicants have to have earned the DOEACC Society’s O Level Computer Certificate. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of Territorial Army service.

Maximum Age

Candidates must be at least 21 years old to apply for the positions of Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander; they cannot be older than 28. Additionally, applicants in specific categories will be granted an age relaxation. OBC applicants will get a three-year age restriction relaxation, while SC and ST candidates will receive a five-year age limit exemption.

Procedure for Selection

Written exams, physical standard tests, and physical efficiency tests will all be used to choose candidates. 160 questions totaling 400 marks will be asked of applicants in the written test. These questions will include topics such as General Hindi, Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge, Mental Aptitude, and Numerical and Mental Ability. Those who pass this test will be invited to the next round.
