They ought to be drawn to floriculture, or the growing of flowers. In addition to financial support, farmers will be able to purchase advanced planting supplies at reduced prices under this program.

This will enable farmers to sow high-quality plants and increase yield. We would like to inform you that the Sitamarhi district has become the focal point of this initiative. In several of the district’s blocks, including Runnisaidpur, Dumra, Bathnaha, Pupri, and Sonbarsa, marigold is grown extensively. Marigold flowers are still in demand for festivals, weddings, worship, and décor, which helps producers make a steady living. By receiving a grant, they may now expand the area of their agriculture or enhance their profit margin.

There would be a grant of Rs 40,000 per acre

According to Nayaz Ahmed, Sitamarhi’s district horticulturist, the program aims to promote agriculture on 40 hectares of land in the area. Farmers may apply till this goal is not met. Farmers who want to cultivate a minimum of 0.25 decimal and a maximum of 2 hectares of land may apply under this program. They will get a grant of Rs 40,000 per acre.

In addition to working in a different direction from conventional farming, farmers involved in this program are able to make a decent living based on the demand for flowers in the market. Small and medium-sized farmers that want to increase their profits on less land may particularly benefit from this effort.
