Goat Farming Scheme: The government of Uttar Pradesh has started a highly ambitious program to help the state’s youth find self-employment and become financially independent livestock producers. This program was put into place as part of the “National Livestock Mission,” which offers particular financial support to encourage the goat-raising industry. The primary goal of this program is to use animal husbandry to generate new jobs in rural and semi-urban regions.

Eligible applicants may get a concessional loan of up to Rs 1 crore under this plan. Additionally, up to 50% of the goat-raising unit’s total cost may be subsidized. Important application requirements:

The following requirements must be met by interested parties in order to get the advantages of this scheme:

  • Being a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh is required.
  • Goat-raising experience is a must for the position.
  • To establish the farm, sufficient land, water, and other essential resources must be arranged.
  • A detailed project report, or DPR, must be prepared for the plan.
  • A training certificate from the Animal Husbandry Department must be submitted.
