PM-Kisan Scheme Update: Know the 4 major reasons for the delay in the 20th installment of PM Kisan

PM-Kisan Scheme Update: The Government of India’s ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) program seeks to strengthen farmers’ financial standing. Each year, three payments of Rs 6,000 are immediately deposited into the bank accounts of qualified farmers under this plan. The 19th payment of this program has been distributed to farmers so far. Farmers are thus anxiously awaiting the 20th payment, although the government has not yet issued an official declaration about PM Kisan’s 20th installment.

Why is there a delay in the installment?

Reports state that the following significant factors are cited as the cause of the postponement of the 20th installment of PM Kisan:

  • Many farmers still haven’t finished e-KYC.
  • Aadhaar is not connected to bank accounts.
  • mistakes or lack of changes in land documentation.
  • State-level document verification is still pending.
  • Farmers with insufficient documentation will not get the subsequent payment, the government has made plain.

Farmers should take extra care of the following if they want to participate in this program and get the subsequent installment:

  • Finish the e-KYC on schedule. It is now required to go through this procedure.
