Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana: Golden opportunity for farmers! Government is giving up to 40% subsidy benefit, know the whole process
Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana: The central government and state governments are promoting many crops and vegetables through various initiatives. For some crops, farmers are getting subsidies up to 40% to increase production and earn income. Although many farmers are benefiting from these programs, some farmers are still left behind, which is hampering the full production of the crop.

According to Mukesh Gehlot, Assistant Director (Horticulture) of the Agriculture Department, the central government is providing subsidies to farmers for crops and vegetables. A program has been launched under the National Animal Oil Mission to promote mustard and groundnut. Farmers setting up a processing facility producing 10 tonnes of oil will get a subsidy of Rs 9.90 lakh.
The sector is working to encourage the production of cotton. The state government is working particularly hard to encourage the production of coarse grains under the Shri Anna Yojana. The inclusion of moth cultivation under Panch Gaurav by the state government will promote moth cultivation.
Under the ARCVV program, efforts are being made to promote date palm as an advanced horticultural crop. Under the National Horticulture, a 40 percent subsidy will be given out of Rs 75 thousand spent on Amla, Ber and Papaya crops. Farmers growing general crops like orange, pomegranate, lemon and kinnow will get a 40 percent subsidy on one lakh twenty-five thousand rupees. Those planting high-density orchards will get a 40 percent grant amount of two lakh rupees.
Prime Minister Crop Insurance is also available for farmers. The premium for Rabi crops will be 1.5 percent and for Kharif crops it will be 2 percent. A 5% premium will have to be paid while purchasing insurance for commercial crops and advanced horticulture. Apart from this, farmers can also benefit from the National Natural Farming Mission. 120 clusters have been selected in the Bikaner district, and 75 farmers will get the benefit of natural farming.
30 farmers of Bikaner have been selected for the model cluster under high-tech horticulture, and they will get the benefit of the polyhouse plan. Thus, comprehensive programs of the central and state governments are helping the farmers.
