Which crops will be eligible for subsidies when grown?

The Bihar government launched this program for farmers. Under the Seed Spices Scheme, state farmers who grow celery, fennel, fenugreek, coriander, mangrela, and other vegetables would get a 40% to 50% subsidy. The farmers in 38 districts will profit from this program. whereby each acre will get a subsidy equal to 40% of the ₹50,000 cost. In other words, one acre of spice growing might get a subsidy of up to ₹20,000. The government will provide this subsidy in two payments so that farmers may get assistance when they need it.

A minimum of 0.25 acres or 0.1 hectares of land must be owned by any farmer who wants to participate in this program. The maximum amount of land that a farmer should own is five acres, or two hectares.

78.537 percent of farmers in the General Category, 20% of farmers in the Scheduled Caste, and 1.46 percent of farmers in the Scheduled Tribe would be chosen as recipients of the subsidy. In addition, 30% of women will continue to participate in each category in order to benefit women.
