Sightseeing Program Plan: The federal government and state governments take a variety of actions to support fish producers. In this context, the Bihar government has recently launched a program called the “Bhraman Darshan Program Scheme,” which will assist fish farmers in increasing their revenue. The state government launched this program during the 2025-2026 financial year.

Aim of the scheme
The primary goal of this program of the state government is to educate the fishermen of the state about contemporary, scientific fisheries. They will visit places in Bihar as part of the travel program where state-of-the-art fish farming methods are being used. Number of beneficiaries and implementation of the scheme
This scheme will be implemented in each state district. A total of 5850 fish producers will be included in 294 batches under the program. Each batch will have 20 fish producers. These farmers will be given a one-day tour of the advanced fisheries of the state.
Cost of registration
Intended beneficiaries wishing to participate in the tour darshan program will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100 and deposit it in the fisheries office of the concerned district.
Eligibility of beneficiaries
The benefit of this program will be available only to those fish producers who meet the following requirements:
- Fish farmers do fish farming in government, private, or leased ponds and waterways.
- Ex-candidates in various departmental programs.
- Active participant in the cooperative fisheries committee at the block level.
- Following the departmental instruction, visionary fish farmers have effectively participated in fisheries.
- Farmers who have the necessary resources and are interested in fishing.
Application Process
“Bhraman Darshan Program” will accept only applications submitted online. To apply for this, one has to visit the official website of the department. The last date for application has been fixed as 31 August 2025.
