We are seeking motivated and committed Fabricators / Second Class Welders to join our Fabrication or Robotics teams. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders to work in a modern, fully equipped environment, with both day and afternoon shifts available. The afternoon shift carries a 15% loading on the hourly rate.
Job Overview
As a Fabricator / Second Class Welder at Digga, you will play a key role in producing high-quality machinery attachments for a variety of applications. You will work with a range of attachments, including Loaders, Buckets, Brooms, Slashers, and Augers, ensuring all products meet Digga’s exacting standards. Working in a production environment, you will be responsible for safe, precise, and efficient welding and fabrication in line with technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding according to technical drawings and specifications.
Fabricate, cut, and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.
Collaborate with the Robotics and Fabrication teams to achieve production targets.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inspect welded products to meet Digga’s quality standards.
Use individual jib cranes and extraction units effectively in your workspace.
Experience & Qualifications
Trade qualification in welding or fabrication, or relevant work experience.
Previous MIG welding experience is required.
Proven ability in cutting, welding, and fabricating components with attention to detail.
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Exposure to robotic welding is highly desirable.
Current forklift license is an advantage.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
