Application date extended for RRB Technician recruitment, candidates should apply immediately
RRB Technician Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board has extended the application deadline for RRB Technician Grade 1 and 3 Recruitment (RRB Technician Recruitment 2025). Candidates may now apply until the extended deadline of August 7th if they have been unable to complete the application form up to this point for whatever reason. You may fill out the application by clicking on the direct link provided on this page or by going to the official website, rrbapply.gov.in.
Updated RRB Technician Recruitment Dates
- The deadline for online applications is August 7, 2025.
- The application fee must be paid by August 9, 2025, for completed forms.
- Application form correction dates: August 10–19, 2025
- Dates for submitting scribe information on the qualified scribe candidates’ application portal: August 20–24, 2025
Qualifications & Requirements
A three-year polytechnic diploma, BSc, BTech, BE, or other equivalent degree must be earned in order to apply for RRB Technician Grade 1 positions. In addition, the applicant must be at least 18 years old and no older than 33 before they may be considered.
The applicant must have completed both ITI and 10th grade from an accredited board in order to apply for Railway Technician Grade 3 positions. For Grade 3 positions, the minimum and maximum ages have been set at 18 and 30, respectively.
The recommended relaxation in upper age shall be granted to candidates from the restricted category. Note that the age will be determined with July 1, 2025, in mind. Do read the official announcement once for comprehensive eligibility requirements.
Procedure for Applications
- You must go to the official website, rrbapply.gov.in, in order to complete the RRB Technician Application Form 2025.
- Click the Apply button here, then click Create an Account to fill out the necessary information and register.
- Next, choose Already Have an Account, provide more information, and finish the form.
- Lastly, pay the required cost to submit the form, grab a printout, and save it securely.

How much will the price be for each category?
Candidates from the Unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories must pay a fee of Rs 500. For applicants in all categories who are female, SC, or ST, the application fee is Rs 250.
