Eligibility

In order to participate in Eastern Railway’s recruiting procedure, candidates must meet certain requirements. Candidates must be 12th grade graduates in order to be considered for Group C (Level 2) recruiting. There should be 50% marks as well. However, applicants for higher education, PwBD, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen (ESM) would not be subject to this 50% requirement. Candidates must have passed 10th grade alone or 10th grade with an ITI or NAC certificate to be considered for Group D (Level 1).

Age Restriction

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 30 to be considered for these positions. Additionally, the maximum age restriction would be lowered by three years for applicants in the OBC category and by five years for those in the SC/ST category. When it comes to the application cost, male applicants must pay Rs 500. The applicant would get a refund of Rs 400 if they show up for the written test. However, applicants from economically disadvantaged classes, women, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, PwBD, and minorities would only be required to pay Rs 250.
