RRC Western Railway Recruitment 2025: Western Railway’s Railway Recruitment Cell has released a notice on the apprenticeship hiring process. Apprenticeship applications will open on August 30. with those who want to work as apprentices with Western Railway, this is a fantastic chance. Let us inform you that there are 2865 apprenticeship positions available, of which 1150 are set aside for general category candidates, 433 for SC candidates, 215 for ST candidates, 778 for OBC candidates, and 289 for EWS candidates. Additionally, September 29, 2025, has been set as the deadline for applications for these positions.

Maximum Age

Candidates must have reached the age of 15 and not yet reached the age of 24 in order to apply. However, applicants will also be granted age relaxation. The age restriction would be loosened for five years for SC and ST applicants, three years for OBC candidates, and ten years for Divyang candidates.

Qualifications in Education

Candidates must have finished their 10th and 12th grades with at least 50% of the possible points from an accredited Indian institution in order to be eligible to apply. In addition, they have to have earned a National Trade certificate from an NCVT- or SCVT-approved institution. Additionally, the applicants will be chosen based on their grades from classes 10 and 12.

Application Cost

Candidates must additionally pay the application fee in order to apply. Applicants must pay an application fee of Rs. 100 and a processing charge of Rs. 41. In addition, the application cost has been lowered for SC and ST applicants. However, a processing charge of Rs 41 must be paid by SC and ST applicants.
