Fish farming is a highly lucrative profession, he informed his buddy Dev Narayan Singh. At a very minimal cost, this will provide a substantial revenue. He began fish farming as a result of his suggestion. As a result, he is now making more money than he would from conventional farming.

Fish farming has been practiced over the last 30 years
He explains that he has been fish farming on his 2.5-acre property for the last 20 years or so. He buys fish fry at a very cheap cost from the fisheries department, which is where he takes them. He doesn’t need to go outdoors for this either.
More revenue at a lower expense
He said that the cost of 2.5 acres of land is between 80 and 90 thousand rupees. On the other hand, one may easily make 250,000 to 300,000rupees a year in comparison to the expense. He said that he sells the fish that are cooked in the pond in the marketplaces of Gorakhpur, including Lucknow.
Greater financial gain compared to conventional farming
According to him, fish farming is more lucrative than conventional farming. Thus, there is just a one-time expense. For the remainder of the year, there is no charge. Additionally, he makes fish feed on his fields. He uses both wheat flour and green fodder for this. He raises fish like grass cutter, rohu, and katla.
