Success Story: This couple earns lakhs every month by animal husbandry and selling milk and curd
Success Story: An individual who raises animals in the hamlet of Luniyawas, 75 kilometers from the capital Jaipur, makes millions of rupees each month. For the last six years, this animal husbandman has been raising cows. This animal husbandman goes by Kalu Ram, but the locals call him Kalu Dada. At the moment, this farmer has three buffaloes, nine young calves, and seven cows. In addition, he has almost 20 goats.

He is making a healthy profit from cow dung manure in addition to milk. Kaluram only raises animals since he has no other means of support. According to Kalu Ram, he didn’t even have enough money to operate the household when he first began raising animals, but today he lends money to others.
Getting over one rupee a month
Kaluram, an animal husbandman, said that raising cows, buffaloes, and goats brings him about one hundred twenty thousand rupees per month. Kaluram offers cow dung manure to farmers in addition to providing milk to the dairy. In addition, he sells cow urine at Ayurvedic clinics. According to him, a kilogram of cow milk now costs thirty rupees, whereas a kilogram of buffalo milk costs forty rupees. The dairy sells all of the milk.
The dairy is jointly operated by the husband and wife
This task is done daily by Kalu Ram and his wife, Geeta Devi. One cow produces around 8 liters of milk each day; therefore, Kaluram receives 80 liters of cow milk daily. In this scenario, he sells cow milk at the dairy for 3200 rupees a day. In other words, Kaluram sells cow milk for around one lakh rupees a month. In addition to this, he sells cow manure for 50,000 rupees a month. In addition, he raises goats and makes 20,000 rupees a month. In addition, he sells the curd and buttermilk he prepares from buffalo milk.
