In reality, Anupam Mishra, who lives in Baridih village in the Sadar block of the Latehar district’s Pochra Panchayat, has designated 12 acres of bare land as special. He began gardening on 12 acres of bare ground six years ago. He is making millions of rupees from his gardening, which has made the whole family wealthy.

YouTube is where Farmer got the idea

According to farmer Anupam Mishra, he planted two to four mango plants on the property ten years ago. Although growing mangoes was his desire, livestock damaged those plants. Then, with YouTube’s assistance, he began growing mangoes six years ago by using the Chief Minister Jan Van Yojana. He then had to put in two years of hard labor. The fruit began to appear in the third year at the same time. At the same time, 35 quintals of fruit were produced this year.

40 thousand rupees’ worth of mangoes have been sold

The farmer said that he had sold mangoes for 40,000 rupees so far this year. Mangoes are now being prepared at the same time. There will be around 35 quintals of mango sales. In Latehar, Garhwa, Palamu, and Ranchi, his mangoes are much sought after. He thinks that the moniker Mango Hub has to be used to make this place popular.

On arid land, thousands of rupees

The farmer said that this field was entirely devoid of vegetation six years ago. where maize and tur were grown, none of which produced any particular profit. The locals mocked him later when he began gardening since trees grew on bare ground, but now everyone is shocked. Mango trees come in over 25 different kinds now. In addition, wood, pomegranate, jackfruit, and lemon trees have been planted, yielding millions of rupees annually. One no longer has to be concerned about the house’s financial situation.

Twenty-five mango species were prepared by the farmer

According to the farmer, his orchard has 25 different types of mangos, some of which are quite unique. whose market price is really high. This kind of mango, known as ituartu, cost between 1200 and 1500 rupees per kilogram in the market last year. In addition, his orchard is planted with kinds of Maldah, Gulab Khas, Dudhiya Malda, Black Currant, Him Sagar, Jardalu, Dussehri, Mallika, Krishnabhog, Amrapali, and Fazli banana mangoes.

The district administration’s demand

Due to the poor quality of the village’s transportation route, Anupam Mishra has made demands of the district government. It will be easy to harvest mangoes on a big scale and transport them to the market in the near future if the district government assists in building the road and transportation facilities improve.
