Prabhat is connected to the agriculture industry

After graduating, Prabhat Kumar (26), a native of Kauwal village in Imamganj block, decided to pursue a career in agriculture. For the last three to four years, he has been involved in a variety of agricultural ventures. Since last year, Prabhat has been linked to fish aquaculture. With the Bihar government’s assistance, he created a pond and raised rehu and katla fish, which brought him around 1.5 lakh rupees. Prabhat raised over twenty thousand Jasar fish in an acre pond this year.

Fish farming success

Fish feed and seed have been imported from Jharkhand’s Chatra district’s Jori Bazaar. According to Prabhat, these fish should be ready for harvesting in four to five months. About 10 tons of fish would be produced after four to five months, bringing in Rs 10 lakh in revenue and likely saving Rs 3–4 lakh.

Additional agricultural pursuits of Prabhat

Prabhat learned about fish farming on YouTube and launched this company after receiving his bachelor’s degree. A year ago, he began fish farming and built a pond under the Bihar government program. Fish farming is a lucrative enterprise, according to Prabhat, and other farmers need to get involved. In addition, Prabhat works in poultry, dairy, and nursery farming, which has raised his yearly revenue to Rs 5–6 lakh.
