Hiring Clinic Manager Position Overview
The Clinic Manager will supervise clinic supervisors and support staff while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient service. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of healthcare workflows and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinic Operations & Management
Oversee business, technical, and nursing support activities within the clinic.
Implement clinic-specific goals and objectives aligned with organizational standards.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor clinic expenditures.
Develop and implement clinic policies, procedures, and workflow improvements.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and proper allocation of resources.
Manage clinic safety, risk, and compliance issues.
Ensure the clinic adheres to required healthcare regulations and internal standards.
Patient Care & Service Quality
Work closely with physicians and clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Address patient service concerns and maintain satisfaction standards.
Promote a patient-first environment throughout the clinic.
Staff Leadership & Support
Supervise clinic supervisors, business office staff, and clinical support teams.
Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development and training.
Support staff and physicians with daily guidance and problem resolution.
Foster teamwork and a positive, professional work environment.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in scheduling and operational coverage during holidays or busy periods.
Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Code of Conduct.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting, OR
High school diploma/equivalent with 4+ years of experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
Preferred:
Current RN or LVN license (state-specific).
Skills & Knowledge
Solid understanding of financial management within a medical practice.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations.
Familiarity with medical insurance plans, billing processes, and coding procedures.
Understanding of human resource policies and employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
