Pay & Schedule

Current Wage: $21.46/hr

Wage Increase: $22.04/hr starting July 1

Additional raise: After 90 days of employment

Schedule: Full-time, flexible availability required (nights, weekends, holidays)

Key Responsibilities
Wheelchair Assistance

Help passengers with limited mobility navigate the terminal

Safely transfer passengers between wheelchairs and aircraft seats (with support from team members)

Push occupied wheelchairs across terminals, ramps, and jet bridges

Provide respectful, patient, and attentive customer service
Baggage Handling

Load and unload passenger luggage
-
Move bags from check-in to the aircraft and back
-
Operate conveyor belts, carts, and baggage equipment
-
Ensure bags are sorted accurately by flight

Maintain timely and safe handling of all luggage
Reporting & Safety

Complete incident reports when required

Use protective equipment such as hearing protection

Follow all airport and safety protocols
Physical Requirements
This job requires physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor airport environments. Applicants must be able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Lift 70 pounds or more

Bend, twist, reach, and move luggage

Work in loud or busy terminal areas

Safely respond to spoken instructions and audible alerts

Maintain clear close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
Qualifications

At least 18 years old

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and write in English

Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and basic technology

Capable of assisting passengers in wheelchairs

Able to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions

Pass a drug screening

Eligible for airport security clearances (TSA, FAA, customs, etc.)
