Children’s Coach Job Opening Role
As a children’s coach, you will work with kids ranging from early walkers to eleven years old. Your responsibilities include teaching the monthly curriculum, helping students practice exercises safely, and maintaining a lively and encouraging class environment. You will also communicate with parents and guardians to explain the purpose behind each activity and how it benefits their child’s development. Class schedules vary throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, offering flexibility based on studio needs. In addition to regular classes, you may also assist during private events and special programs held during school breaks.
Daily Responsibilities
Your role involves coaching classes of small to medium group sizes and keeping sessions on schedule. You will guide children through structured activities while ensuring safety and proper technique. Before each class, you will greet both students and their parents, creating a welcoming environment that builds trust. Maintaining the cleanliness of the center is also part of the job, including organizing equipment, managing trash, and cleaning high-traffic areas. You will record class details through the designated coaching app, communicate with your team through the company’s messaging system, and complete training modules as required. The position requires physical stamina, as you may be moving throughout the entire shift and lifting lightweight equipment regularly.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
Candidates should have a genuine passion for child development and enjoy engaging with both children and parents. Experience coaching children in the appropriate age range is helpful, though not always required. Familiarity with basic exercise principles and body mechanics will support your effectiveness in class. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to motivate young learners are important for success. CPR certification and comfort working in a hands-on environment are also required. Individuals who are self-driven and enjoy being in a leadership role will thrive in this position.
