We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team at the Alice Ross-King Care Centre and Gordon Lodge in Bull Creek.
Position Overview
In this permanent full-time role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the physical wellbeing and mobility of aged-care residents. You will design treatment plans, implement individual and group physiotherapy programs, and contribute to a warm, supportive, and high-quality care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build meaningful, respectful relationships with residents based on their needs, routines, and preferences
Assess residents’ physical and mobility functions
Plan and implement effective physiotherapy treatment and activity programs
Collaborate with health professionals and follow organisational policies and procedures
Monitor, document, and report changes in resident wellbeing in the electronic healthcare system
Ensure therapy equipment is maintained and safety standards are met
Deliver group and individual therapy programs
Supervise Therapy Assistants and volunteers
Train staff in safe manual handling techniques
Communicate program outcomes with Allied Health and Clinical teams

Gordon Lodge
A newly refurbished 62-bed Residential Aged Care Centre with beautiful views of Lake Howard. Offers permanent care, respite care, and a secure dementia wing known as Rose Cottage.

About You
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
Registered with the Australian Association of Physiotherapists
Understanding of scope of practice and ethical requirements
Previous experience in Residential Aged Care (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to relate with empathy to elderly residents
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Enjoy building strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
