Job Description & Responsibilities:

The selected applicant will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, and must possess strong navigational and mechanical skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks.

• Planning or adjusting routes using GPS or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

• Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects.

• Inspecting the vehicle’s condition, including brakes, tires, and lights.

• Performing brake adjustments.

• Being able to perform emergency roadside repairs.

Job Requirements:

While no standard education (Bachelor’s degree, certificate, or diploma) is required, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Language: Must be fluent in the English language.

• Experience: Experience is considered a significant asset.

• Licensing: Must possess a Class 1/1F/A Licence (for semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
