Yukon Liquor Corporation job: Take on a pivotal position with Yukon Liquor Corporation! To assist with our central warehouse operations, we are looking for a warehouse worker in Whitehorse, YT. In this full-time, permanent role (75 hours every two weeks), you will select client orders, manage inventory, aid with stock rotation, and keep the warehouse neat and organized. Receiving, storing, and transporting goods to authorized clients and neighborhood retailers around Yukon are all handled by our central warehouse. Duties
- Accurately and quickly choose and assemble client orders
- Help rotate inventory and guarantee the freshness of the products.
- Maintain the warehouse’s order and cleanliness.
- Conduct inventory counts and support inventory management processes.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (knowledge of power jacks and forklifts is advantageous).
- Observe safety precautions, such as donning protective shoes and lifting up to 40–60 pounds for around 75% of the time.
- To achieve operational objectives, work both individually and together.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
- familiarity with working at a warehouse
- Picking and assembling consumer purchases in recent years
- familiarity with inventory counts and other inventory processes
- Experience with a power jack and forklift is advantageous; please include this on your CV.
- Capacity to operate both alone and cooperatively
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and meticulousness
- At ease carrying out simple mathematical computations
