What the Role Entails
As an independent online tutor, you will be crucial to student success:
Flexible Scheduling: You have the liberty to select your own work schedule, allowing you to seamlessly integrate tutoring with any other commitments.
Resources & Autonomy: Utilise the resources we offer, coupled with the freedom to create and employ your own materials.
Expert Support: Collaborate closely with a dedicated Tutor Support Team comprised of former teachers, providing you with expert guidance and a wealth of knowledge.
Your Responsibilities:
Creating and delivering exciting and engaging lessons to GCSE English students.
Providing ongoing communication and constructive feedback to parents/students.
Supervising and supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Completing short, necessary tutor administration and organisation tasks.
What it Takes to be a Tutor with Us
We are looking for individuals who can bring enthusiasm and professionalism to every session:
Enthusiasm for Teaching: A passion for delivering fun, engaging, and top-notch education, always with a smile!
Excellent Communication: The ability to articulate yourself effectively using professional English language vocabulary.
Technical Setup: A functioning computer or laptop equipped with a camera and microphone for one-on-one interaction.
Compliance:
Ready to either present a valid Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent) or willing to apply for one through us.
Must be a UK resident with a UK address and a UK bank account for seamless payment processing.
