Role Overview
The Founder’s Office Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the founder and managing strategic projects. This role involves a combination of business strategy, operational management, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling multiple responsibilities, including investor relations, product management, team leadership, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations and Strategic Partnerships
The candidate will manage communications with investors, ensuring alignment with company goals and updates on progress. Preference is given to candidates with experience in securing funding, preparing investment proposals, and onboarding investors. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential to maintain healthy relationships.
Product Management and Data Analysis
The manager will oversee product strategy and development, including monitoring website analytics, tracking user engagement, and designing new product features. Expertise in advanced Excel functions, data analysis, and strategic planning is required to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
Team Management and Leadership
Managing and mentoring cross-functional teams will be a significant part of this role. The manager will coordinate with developers, designers, content creators, and tutors to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within timelines. Leadership and team-building skills are critical for fostering collaboration and achieving goals.
Communication and Documentation
This role acts as the primary contact between founders and internal or external stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing presentations, reports, and official documents, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring clear and effective communication across the organization.
Project Coordination and Strategy
The manager will assist in special projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently. Strategic planning will involve identifying market opportunities, analyzing data to inform decisions, and guiding the company’s growth trajectory. Responsibilities also include developing B2B partnerships, automating workflows using tools like n8n and Zapier, and monitoring SEO and digital marketing performance to enhance brand visibility.
Digital Marketing and SEO
The Founder’s Office will oversee social media campaigns, monitor website traffic, and implement strategies to improve lead conversion rates. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Microsoft Clarity, and Active Campaign is essential for analyzing user behavior and identifying opportunities to optimize marketing funnels.
Resource and Performance Management
This role involves managing company resources, including finances, human capital, and technology infrastructure. The manager will monitor KPIs, track progress against strategic objectives, and ensure efficient utilization of resources to support long-term business growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Education: MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, FMS Delhi, XLRI, or equivalent). B.Tech/BE is preferred.
CAT Score: Above 95th percentile.
Experience: 1-4 years in executive support, business analysis, consulting, or startup/marketplace roles.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and project management tools like JIRA.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
