JOBS IN USA: Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp., a distinguished member of the Mondelez International family, has officially opened recruitment for Night Shift Line Packers at its Shirley, NY facility. With over three decades of excellence in the North American bakery manufacturing sector, the company is seeking energetic individuals to join its rapidly expanding team. This hiring drive is part of the organization’s ongoing growth strategy, offering candidates a chance to work with globally recognized brands such as two-bite®, Kimberley’s Bakeshoppe™, and Mason St. Bakehouse™. This role is ideal for those seeking a stable career path within a values-driven corporate culture.

Production Responsibilities and Operational Oversight
As a General Production Worker focusing on line packing, the successful candidate will operate under the guidance of Machine Operators and Production Supervisors. The core of this role involves executing a variety of plant tasks essential for maintaining high-quality manufacturing standards. Primary duties include packaging finished goods, feeding products into the assembly line, constructing shipping boxes, and ensuring tamper-evident seals are correctly applied. Beyond routine packing, employees are expected to maintain the integrity of the production flow and may occasionally step in to provide coverage for Machine Operators when required.
Compliance with Safety and Manufacturing Standards
Operating within the food manufacturing industry necessitates a rigorous commitment to hygiene and safety protocols. Line Packers are responsible for strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and comprehensive Food Safety policies at all times. Give & Go prides itself on a culture of accountability and quality; therefore, every team member must ensure their workspace remains compliant with both company and federal health and safety regulations. Maintaining open and direct communication with Area Leaders is crucial to identifying any potential quality issues before the product leaves the facility.
Candidate Qualifications and Physical Demands
To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold a high school diploma or an equivalent GED. The company prefers candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly those with a background in the food or dairy sectors. Due to the fast-paced nature of the bakery line, manual dexterity and the ability to stand for extended periods are essential physical requirements. Furthermore, since the facility operates around the clock, candidates must demonstrate the flexibility to handle rotating shifts and occasional weekend assignments to meet production targets.
Compensation Structure and Employee Benefits
Give & Go offers a competitive starting pay rate of $16.50 per hour for this full-time, permanent position. The standard work week consists of 37.5 hours, with ample opportunities for overtime pay. In addition to steady wages, the company provides a robust benefits package designed to support the long-term well-being of its staff. This includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) retirement savings plans. Employees are also covered by basic life insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, alongside a structured allotment of paid vacation and sick time.
