Join Our Team: We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and nurturing environment. This role requires previous childcare experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome all children and families, ensuring a positive first impression.
Provide attentive care while following area-specific procedures, including diaper changes, age-appropriate activities, and relaying important updates to families.
Plan, prepare, and execute games, activities, and schedules for all age groups.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including disinfecting toys, returning equipment to designated areas, and reporting broken equipment.
Observe children’s behavior, assess appropriateness, and implement safety regulations and emergency procedures. Apply effective behavior management techniques as needed.
Attend all required trainings, meetings, and comply with organizational policies.
Support colleagues and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous childcare experience is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to assist in emergency situations.
Must be able to perform physical duties, including bending, squatting, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Must be available to work some weekends and holidays.
Reliable transportation and good attendance required.
