Tree planting is a priority for the government

In light of the weather, the government of Jammu and Kashmir and the Department of Horticulture have placed an emphasis on high-density planting. The income of the local farmers will rise as a result of this. Different apple cultivars will be imported from European nations and planted in Kashmir as part of this new government experiment. With this, the farmers in this area will make a respectable income.

The government offers grants

The Jammu and Kashmir Horticulture Department is providing farmers with up to a 50% subsidy for the planting of this novel apple cultivar. In order to support farmers, the Horticulture Department also gives them technical knowledge of agriculture. The educated young of Kashmir are also moving to agriculture as a result. The yield will increase

Farmers in Kashmir claim that this award would improve apple production there once again and provide jobs for locals. According to the Horticulture Department, this new apple type will be made accessible to the public within the next one to two months.
